EastEnders' Ravi Gulati caught out over Ranveer murder

EastEnders spoilers follow.

Ravi Gulati has been caught out for murdering Ranveer in EastEnders.

Earlier this week, Denise discovered the damning CCTV footage that proved Ravi was the one who killed Ranveer Gulati more than a year ago. Ravi had manipulated events to make Suki believe she was the killer.

Thursday's (September 14) episode started off on a frightening note as Ravi had got into Denise's house and saw her watching the CCTV footage.

"You killed that man," Denise realised.

Ravi snapped the laptop in half over his leg and then shoved Denise up against the wall, but she managed to slip away and warned he'd never get away with what he's done.

She fled into Jack Branning's arms, crying out that Ravi had "killed someone". She rushed into Ravi's house since Chelsea has been living there of late, to warn her daughter.

Suki Panesar was also in the house and got a shock of her own as Denise revealed that Ravi was behind Ranveer's murder all along. A panicked Denise relayed what she'd seen on the footage, that Suki had knocked Ranveer out as she was being attacked.

"I thought he was dead, but then Ravi came in and smashed it up," Denise frantically relayed.

Ravi walked in, pretending as if his entire confrontation with Denise never happened. Denise wasn't going to let him get away with his lies, as she stunned Suki by recalling how Ravi had choked Ranveer to death.

Denise then pointed to Ravi: "You killed him!"

A confused Chelsea walked out of the house, demanding to be left alone to think. Jack warned Ravi to "back off" and walked out with Denise, leaving Suki alone with Ravi.

Since Ravi had led Suki to believe she'd killed Ranveer, he had a lot of explaining to do. He tried to manipulate Suki by saying Denise was twisting events to break up his relationship with Chelsea.

"Denise saw you kill him, but it's me she wants to get rid of," Ravi insisted

Ravi swore to Suki that the footage had been destroyed and nobody else would ever see it. Back at Jack's house, Chelsea had shown up with questions for her mother. Both we perplexed by Suki's son Kheerat taking the blame for Ranverr's death and going to prison, but Denise knew what she saw and it meant Ravi is a killer.

Denise comforted her daughter as Chelsea broke down over falling for another dangerous man, following her marriage to killer and abuser Gray Atkins a few years ago.

"This can't be happening again, mum," Chelsea cried out.

Elsewhere, Suki was consumed with suspicion over Ranveer's death and broached the possibility with husband Nish that she may not have killed him.

"If I didn't kill him, then Kheerat's lost everything for nothing," Suki pointed out.

Nish tried talking Suki out of telling Kheerat the truth, as he reasoned it was better for Kheerat to believe he'd sacrificed himself for his mother rather than for nothing.

"We need to keep a lid on this," Nish demanded.

Ravi's troubles continued when Chelsea returned home to break things off because she couldn't trust him anymore.

"It's over, Ravi," Chelsea told him.

At No.27, Suki paid Denise a secret visit to assure her she believed the allegations but needed to know "exactly" what Denise had seen on the CCTV footage.

The two women are set to team up next week as they try to prove, once and for all, that Ravi was the one who murdered Ranveer.

EastEnders airs on Mondays - Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer.
