JOE WILLOCK returns to Newcastle United's starting line-up for this afternoon's game at Ipswich Town.

Willock replaces Joelinton in the only change to the side that started Wednesday night's Carabao Cup quarter-final victory over Brentford.

Joelinton is suspended after picking up his fifth booking of the season in last weekend's league win over Leicester City.

Sean Longstaff returns to the squad after being suspended for the League Cup win, but the midfielder has to be content with a place on the substitutes' bench.

Jacob Murphy continues on the right-hand side of Newcastle's attack, with Anthony Gordon set to line up on the left.

Ipswich are without their leading scorer, Liam Delap, because of suspension, with Sammy Szmodics set to lead the line for the Tractor Boys.
