Eintracht Frankfurt sporting director Markus Krosche has insisted that Omar Marmoush 'feels comfortable' at the club. The 25-year-old forward has been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool recently following his impressive performances in the Bundesliga and the Europa League.

Marmoush, whose contract at the Deutsche Bank Park expires in June 2027, has featured 15 times for the Eagles this season, scoring 13 goals and providing nine assists. Playing a key role in Dino Toppmöller's side, the Egypt international has fired Frankfurt into third place in the Bundesliga.

He's flourished on the European stage too, netting a brilliant free-kick against Slavia Prague on Thursday night to maintain the German outfit's unbeaten campaign. Speaking to reporters after the game, the Frankfurt boss described the strike as 'perfect'.

Toppmöller said: "I don’t think I have seen a better free-kick. It was simply a perfect free kick. There was no room for a sheet of paper in between the post and the ball."

Meanwhile, Krosche was quizzed on Marmoush's future. He said: "I’m obviously pleased that he’s still scoring. I think Omar feels comfortable here so we shouldn’t always discuss the transfer window or possible transfers."

According to the Metro, Marmoush could be available for between €50m and €60m (£42m and £51m), but his market value's expected to rocket if he continues to impress this term.
