El-Kanemi Warriors need to stop ABS's creative players, says Yekeen

The Borno Army interim coach has expressed his team’s readiness to bounce back to winning ways against Rafael Everton side

El Kanemi Warriors goalkeeper, Kazeem Yekeen has urged his teammates to stifle ABS' creative threat when they meet in a Nigeria Professional Football League encounter in Maiduguri.

The Desert Warriors welcome the Saraki Boys to the El Kanemi Sports Complex following a 3-0 loss to MFM FC last weekend.

Yekeen believes that the hosts need to adopt tactics that have served them well at home this term.

"ABS are very offensive but their power is reduced if you can stop their creativity, that has been our  success at home and now we need to repeat the situation," Yekeen told Goal.

"For me they are more European with a style like north African and Ghana teams.

"They are a team filled with young players capable of causing the damage in key games.

"We want to win after our loss to MFM the last time out, which was a painful pill to swallow for us. Our invisibility at home will continue for I don't see ABS stopping us."
