Emerson Royal misses Sheffield United clash through injury as Tottenham eye quick return for in-form defender
Emerson Royal missed Tottenham's FA Cup fifth-round tie against Sheffield United on Wednesday with a knock but is expected to be fit for Saturday's visit to Wolves.
The in-form wing-back sat out at Bramall Lane with a minor knee complaint, with Cristian Stellini and Antonio Conte unwilling to risk him ahead of a packed schedule.
Pedro Porro made just his second Spurs start in place of the Brazilian, one of six changes for the match from the win over Chelsea at the weekend.
Harry Kane was rested for only the second time this season, with Richarlison expected to play through the middle, while Lucas Moura started for the first time since the Champions League win over Marseille on November 1.
There were also starts for Ivan Perisic, Davinson Sanchez, Pape Sarr and Heung-min Son, while Cristian Romero and Oliver Skipp were also rested.
Stellini was in the dugout again, with Conte expected to return to work this week after a period recuperating from gallbladder surgery in Italy.
