Actress Emilia Fox has confirmed her split from fiancé Luc Chaudhary and called reports she kicked him out of their home “hurtful and untrue”.
The star is known for roles in popular shows such as BBC’s Silent Witness and Sky drama Delicious.
But she has been forced to set the record straight in a joint statement from her and Chaudhary which says he “lived independently” from her throughout their relationship.

The statement posted to her Instagram story reads: “The newspaper articles that have appeared regarding the break up of the relationship between Luc Chaudhary and myself are both hurtful and untrue.
“I did not kick Luc out of my home. Luc and his wonderful sons lived independently in their own home throughout our relationship. Both our families had love and respect for us and our relationship.
“5 months ago Luc and I decided to part ways. It was done amicably, respectfully and with great consideration to our children.”
The statement went on to explain why they had taken not to announce their split previously.
“We still both care immensely about each other’s kids and about each other which is why these articles would be damaging for them to read or be told about,” it explained.
“We remained quiet about our break up, because it was and is a private matter to us.”
The statement ended: “We hope you will respect both of our families privacy from here on and correct this article or remove it.
“With thanks for reading, Emilia and Luc.”
Fox previously dated comedian Vic Reeves before marrying The Crown and Mad Men star Jared Harris.
After divorcing Harris she had a daughter, Rose, with actor Jeremy Gilley.
Her recent television credits include The Trial of Christine Keeler, Strangers and Inside No.9.
