Emotional Jose Mourinho left stunned by Liverpool supporters ahead of Champions League final

Liverpool conquered Europe for the sixth time on this day in 2019 as Mohamed Salah and Divock Origi scored in a 2-0 victory over Tottenham in Madrid.

And before the game an emotional moment in the TV studio went viral as two of Liverpool's biggest rivals sat in awe of the sea of Red in the stadium beforehand.

Indeed, Arsene Wenger and Jose Mourinho were both left stunned as Liverpool's supporters belted out You'll Never Walk before the Champions League final.

The Reds sold out their allocation for the clash at Atletico Madrid's Wanda Metropolitano Stadium, with the Spanish authorities estimating that around 50,000 Liverpool fans were in Madrid for the match, which they won 2-0.

Reds fans are renowned for being passionate about their side, but they way in which they sang their club's anthem left the pair, at the game as pundits for beINSPORTS, in amazement.

When asked by the presenter what they made of the atmosphere, Mourinho replied: "This is more beautiful than what we can say!".

Before former Arsenal boss Wenger added: "It's unique!"

Mourinho returns to punditry duty for TNT Sports with the Portuguese set to be a guest for Dortmund's clash with his old side Real Madrid at Wembley this evening.

He will then take up a role as manager of Fenerbahce after losing his job as Roma manager last season.
