The first thing most fans would pack for their trip to the World Cup are their match tickets – but not one England fan.

Douglas Moreton has already attended England v Tunisia and is in Nizhny Novgorod for the clash with Panama this afternoon.

But the Bristolian has forgotten one crucial thing: his match ticket.

Whilst Moreton travelled to Russia, his ticket for the Three Lions’ second group game remained in a drawer back home, more than 2000 miles away.

ITV News Editor Dan Howells brought Moreton’s plight into the public eye and asked on Twitter if anyone has a spare.

That seems to have come up trumps as a ticket has been sorted, however he cannot find Moreton to tell him the good news!

He asked that anyone who knows Moreton, or may come across him in the city, let him know that there is a ticket for him at his hotel’s reception.

If that is not successful, Moreton will be watching the game like millions of others; on a TV screen in a pub or bar.

But his will be within walking distance of the stadium, rather than 2000 miles away!
