Hungary travel to Molineux for today’s final Nations League clash of the summer for England, who face completing the month without a win.

Beaten in Budapest at the start of the break, the performance Gareth Southgate’s side put in that day has seemingly set the tone for what has been a disappointing few games.

Still, three points against a side who also held Germany to a draw could help end the season on a relative high.

Whether or not Nations League displays have any material effect on what happens at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar is up for debate, although few would doubt the fact the mood around the England team has dampened somewhat of late.
