England has stamped their authority so far in the first two days of the Test and India will need a magnificent batting performance in their third innings to stand a chance. Virat’ Kohli’s decision at the toss is still has been a big question as there hasn’t been any movement in the air or off the pitch after the first four hours of the Test.
As far as the weather is concerned, the cloud cover is set to continue throughout the Test with the overcast conditions coming into play. There is a very minimal chance of rain on the third day which might happen in the morning session and the rest of the day looks clear. The humidity level is 50 per cent while there could be some scattered showers on the day.

England produced yet another great day of the performance at the Leeds tests and they are in a situation from where they cannot afford to lose the match with still three days to go. Joe Root has been in the form of his life in the ongoing series against England and he brought up yet another century in the Headingley test to take his tally to 23 overall and has equalled Alastair Cook’s record of most international centuries for England. He finished with 121 off 165 deliveries at a strike rate of 73.33 and kept rotating the strike along with the 14 boundaries.’
England has two wickets in the kitty skill and they will be looking to take the lead near 400 to make it almost impossible for an Indian to win or a draw.
