Jasprit Bumrah didn’t need any help from the pitch for dismissing Jonny Bairstow. Spurred on after taking his 100th Test wicket just in his previous over, the speedster sent back the England wicketkeeper with his trademark delivery – the Yorker and Bairstow had little idea about the ball as it cannoned into his stumps.

Having moved the batsman across with two deliveries on the off-stump, Bairstow was forced to put the bat on it and defend, Jasprit Bumrah delivered the sucker punch: aided by the reverse swing – as little as possible – the pacer hurled down a yorker at Bairstow’s toes.

While the ball was presented as an outswinger by Bumrah, with its seam pointing towards slips, it swung back in with the shiny side inside. The batsman, Bairstow, was beaten by some subtle, smart skills, and incredible execution by a generational fast bowler. Bairstow could only glance behind the disturbed set of timber before walking away.

Post Lunch, it has all be the Indian bowlers. Ravindra Jadeja got rid of the defiant Haseeb Hameed before Jasprit Bumrah castled Ollie Pope and Bairstow. With Pope’s wicket, Bumrah became the fastest Indian pacer to take 100 wickets.

Jadeja accounted for Moeen Ali shortly after and India are on their way to register another brilliant victory. However, Joe Root remains the thorn in India’s side.
