England have unveiled a new blue away kit ahead of this week's friendly with Germany.

Marcus Rashford has been modelling the new strip, which will be used for the first time in the match with Dortmund.

The striker was one of the few positives from England's disastrous Euro 2016 campaign last summer and could feature for Gareth Southgate's side as they look to qualify for the 2018 World Cup.

Nike says of the new kit: "Extensively tested by the England squad, Nike AeroSwift technology represents Nike’s most advanced apparel innovation with enhanced fit, superior breathability and reduced weight.

"Designed to facilitate football at top speed, the shirt’s engineered knit zones create a geometric pattern that enhances fit for the athlete in motion.

"A black vertical stripe runs the length of the shirt and shorts, expanding when the player is in motion to help maximize ventilation."

Fans will be able to purchase the new top on March 22 - the same day as they play Germany.

One player who will not be featuring for England over the coming fortnight is West Ham winger Michail Antonio, who has withdrawn from the England squad for the games against Germany and Lithuania due to a hamstring injury.

Antonio's club announced the news late on Sunday evening after he was injured during their defeat to Leicester the previous day.

A statement on the Hammers' website read: "Michail Antonio has been withdrawn from England's squad for their games against Germany and Lithuania next week after picking up a hamstring injury in Saturday's 3-2 loss against Leicester City.

"Antonio was withdrawn from the squad after being assessed by both the Hammers' and the England medical teams and will remain at Rush Green during the international break."
