Due to the peculiarities of the competition, Germany triumphed but were not able to win points as the meeting was not one of the team's nominated scoring events.
It is the third time this season that the winners of a leg have not won points, after the Netherlands were frustated in La Baule and Great Britain left Saint Gallen empty-handed.
Marcus Ehning, Rolf Moormann, Carsten Otto-Nagel and Philipp Weishaupt put in a near perfect display in Falsterbö - just Moorman had a rail down - but their domination counted for nothing.
Italy, who also were unable score points as they are not part of the top division, came second after an impressive performance from Piergiorgio Bucci, the world number 150 enjoying a double clear-round with Casallo Z.
The Netherlands finished third and were the highest placing team to score points. The Dutch scooped 78.5 points to see them move into second in the provisional ranking list.
Switzerland still lead overall and have secured a place in the final with 320 points.
The next show will be in Hickstead from August 1 to 4.
