Langehanenberg, 30, with Damon Hill scored an unbeatable of 87.8 per cent in the Freestyle Grand Prix, improving her personal benchmark for the second time this season.

Victory saw Langehanenberg climb from seventh to third place on the World Cup ladder. She has already qualified for the finals in Gothenburg.

Langehanenberg was followed by fellow Germans Kristina Sprehe with Desperados and Isabelle Werth with Don Johnson in second and third respectively.

Those results were good enough for Sprehe to rise into top spot in the standings, ahead of Valentina Truppa, while Werth moves up one place to take a share of eighth with Sweden's Minna Telde.

Adelinde Cornelissen, the title holder and winner of two of the three qualifiers she has ridden this season, will have taken note of the German trio's form ahead of the finals in Sweden from April 19 to 22.
