The 2012 Olympic team and individual silver medallist put in a quick triple clear round to see off some stiff competition and claim the win ahead of April's finals in Gothenburg.
Schröder bested a strong field which included Ludger Beerbaum, Olympic champion Steve Guerdat and local rider Cheikh Ali Bin Khalid Al Thani.
The 34-year-old, along with five other riders, qualified for the jump-off without fuss, while Frenchman Roger-Yves Bost retired in the first round and Luciana Diniz and Patrice Delaveau were eliminated from the second.
In the jump-off Schröder was matched by Irishman Denis Lynch, who also registered a triple clear, but the Dutchman was quicker by three seconds and he took victory - and pocketed a cheque for 650,000 euros.
