Edwina Tops-Alexander rides Itot Du Chateau

Tops-Alexander is one of 30 elite riders who have qualified for the tournament and will once again team up with 16-year-old gelding Cevo Itot Du Chateau.

The Sydneysider, who is ranked eighth in the world, will line up against world number one and London Olympic champion Steve Guerdat as well as Global Champions Tour rival Rolf-Göran Bengtsson.

Tops-Alexander was ecstatic with her GTC triumph and praised her horse ‘Itot’ for his wonderful efforts in 2012.

“I am very happy. My horse Itot has been fantastic," Tops-Alexander said. "He was amazing last year and this year he has been even better. It has been a long year and I have to thank my horse as he has been so consistent."

The Gucci Masters is the most globally televised show jumping competition in existence and is the pre-eminent equestrian event on the worldwide scene.
