Erling Haaland has announced he is yet to make a decision about his future amid transfer interest from a host of elite clubs.

Haaland, 20, has become one of Europe's most sought-after forwards after starring for Borussia Dortmund since his move from Red Bull Salzburg in 2019.

The Norway international finished the 2020/21 season as the top scorer in the Champions League with 10 goals, and notched 27 in the Bundesliga to seal third place for BVB after a difficult campaign for the club.

Haaland has cut a frustrated figure at times this season, but Champions League qualification puts Dortmund in a strong negotiating position with the Premier League's top clubs all seeking a striker this summer.

Manchester United tried to lure Haaland to Old Trafford before he opted for Dortmund, but he remains on their transfer wishlist - along with BVB team-mate Jadon Sancho.

Chelsea are also interested as they look for a forward to lead the line, though Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku has also been linked with a return to Stamford Bridge.

Man City are in the market for a forward as well following Sergio Aguero's free transfer to Barcelona, but Tottenham striker Harry Kane is top of their shortlist - though that could change if either Chelsea on Man United land the Spurs star instead.

Barcelona have also been linked, but Aguero’s arrival on a free solves that issue for now given their financial problems.

Haaland will have another chance to impress his suitors at this summer's Euros, though he is set to put any career decisions on the backburner until after the tournament.

Haaland has linked up with the Norway squad ahead of friendlies against Luxembourg and Greece - and when asked about his club future, Goal reports the forward as saying: "I have not taken a position on that.

"After this international break I will go on vacation, and then I will report for pre-season."
