Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland says he hopes talk of a £150million move to Chelsea are “just rumours.”

The Blues are keen to steal a march on most of Europe with a huge bid for the Dortmund striker, who is available for just £75m next summer due to a clause in his contract.

Thomas Tuchel is keen to add a new striker to his ranks, and also holds an interest in Harry Kane and Romelu Lukaku.

But it is Haaland who is Chelsea's main target, though the player himself has no idea about the reports.

"Before yesterday I haven't talked to my agent in a month… you’ve to tell me,” he told Sky Germany when asked about Chelsea's interest.

"But I hope they are just rumours, as €175million [around £150m] would be a lot of money for one person."

Reports in Italy on Wednesday morning claimed Chelsea were ready to bid £110m for Lukaku, only to be knocked back by Inter Milan.
