Tottenham and Liverpool fans were fuming after Wednesday’s announcement of the PFA Player of the Year Award nominees.
Even though Spurs forward Harry Kane did make the cut, there was outrage from Tottenham supporters that young star Dele Alli wasn’t among the six nominees for the award following his string of impressive performances this season.
And it wasn’t just Spurs fans who were furious.
Liverpool supporters also felt aggrieved that they had no representation on the shortlist, with summer signing Sadio Mane the player most expected to have made the cut.
And if not Mane, then who? Hendo perhaps…
And there were also those who (entirely seriously…) said that Arsenal’s Granit Xhaka should have been on the list.
What do you think? Who should win the award?
