The Borussia Dortmund players made sure Marc Bartra made it onto the pitch for their Champions League quarter-final against Monaco on Wednesday evening.
Spanish defender Bartra was injured after an attack on the Dortmund team bus as it was en route to Westfalenstadion for last night’s tie with the French league leaders.
Dortmund goalkeeper Roman Burki, who was sat next to Barta on the bus when it was attacked, wore a ‘Bartra 5’ shirt during the warm-up.
The Monaco supporters also played their part by chanting their support for Dortmund prior to kick-off.
Some even found time to get special shirts made for tonight’s tie.
A brilliant show of solidarity from both clubs.
