The former world No.1 dropped the first set to Pliskova on a tie break, but made light work of the Czech in the second stanza.
Wozniacki, currently ranked 14th in the world, broke early to take a 3-0 lead before Pliskova clawed her only game of the set back but the Dane broke again in the sixth game before going on to take the set.
Pliskova, the world No.3, was broken three times in the deciding set as Wozniacki secured her spot in the final in two hours and 17 minutes.
Wozniacki will play either Great Britain's Jo Konta - the first British woman to make it as far as the semi-finals in Miami - or US veteran Venus Williams, who was the runner up at this year's Australian Open.
WIlliams and Konta will play at 2:00 am
