Marseille have offered one of their strikers to Manchester United as the Premier League giants’ transfer chase gets frantic, while Chelsea have made two transfer offers for a striker and a midfielder, all in Euro Paper Talk.
MILIK OPTION FOR TEN HAG
Manchester United have reportedly been offered the chance to sign Marseille striker Arkadiusz Milik.
Erik ten Hag is desperately in need of at least one striker and United could be chasing another frontman if Cristiano Ronaldo departs. The Portugal star remains insistent he wants to leave and his exit will leave Ten Hag short in attack.
Milik is an option for United after scoring 20 goals in 37 games last season. The 28-year-old Poland star, who has 16 international goals, is under contract until 2025, but Marseille are understood to be willing to cash in on the forward.
Reporter Karim Bennani from Amazon Prime Sport in France has claimed United are one of several clubs that have been offered the player.
OM have “proposed” the striker to Everton, Juventus and United.
Milik price tag
Marseille have reportedly placed a £17m price tag on Milik and United are yet to make their move.
RMC Sport reported in March that Milik would ask to leave the club if Jorge Sampaoli stays on for next season. There is understood to be friction between the pair, despite Milik being settled in the south of France.
Milik though is understood to be keen to play Champions League football, which United cannot offer.
