European clubs circle young Tottenham attacker to leave Postecoglou with a decision to make

This transfer window is going to be as much about the departing Tottenham players as it is the incoming ones with Ange Postecoglou looking to continue the overhaul of his squad.

The Australian has said he is "really comfortable" with the plans Spurs have in place for the summer transfer window, both in terms of signings the club will try to make and also those players they are willing to allow to depart the north London club in the months ahead.

Tottenham have a large number of their squad entering the final season of their contracts at the club. One of those is Troy Parrott, although the club have an option to extend the 22-year-old Republic of Ireland international's deal by another season if they wish. The young striker scored 17 goals and provided five assists during this campaign while on loan in the Eredivisie at ultimately relegated Excelsior Rotterdam.

In the latest episode of Gold & Guest Talk Tottenham, our Spurs correspondents Alasdair Gold and Rob Guest discussed Parrott's future at the club with AZ Alkmaar currently showing the most interest in signing Parrott from Tottenham. Alkmaar finished fourth in the Eredivisie this season, nine points ahead of Ajax, and will believe that Parrott's goals can fire them up the table in the next campaign.

Parrott's goalscoring has not gone unnoticed by others teams at the top of the Eredivisie, as well as clubs in Italy and back home in the Championship in England.

On the podcast, the duo also reviewed Tottenham's season, naming their moments of the campaign, their player of the season, young player of the season, unsung heroes and goal of the season among other discussion points from Postecoglou's first year in charge in N17.
