Rotherham manager Steve Evans admits he found it tough after starting his six-game stadium ban at the weekend.
Evans was handed the punishment after being found guilty of using abusive and insulting words and behaviour with a reference to gender during an incident while manager of Crawley last season.
He was able to watch Saturday's 1-0 win over Torquay via live streaming and kept assistant Paul Raynor's phone to his ear throughout.
"It was tough for me," Evans said. "Thanks to the chairman and the media department I was able to watch it and converse with the bench throughout.
"I found myself talking to Paul Raynor before I'd even picked the phone up and shouting at the television!
"It was tough but that is the punishment that the FA levied at me. If someone gives you a punishment and you accept it, you have to take it on the chin."
