Everton and Baraje keen on Kano Pillars job

Goal have been informed that that the duo have expressed interest in the vacancy at Sai Masu Gida

Former FC IfeanyiUbah coach, Raphael Everton and Zakary Baraje are said to have submitted their names for the vacant coaching role at Kano Pillars.

Goal were informed that the Pillars management may have opened talks with a couple of coaches, which include the duo.

According to a source, Everton is due in Nigeria on Wednesday while it is confirmed that talks have also been established with Baraje's representatives too.

"It's about the client with a good CV and the one who can practically bring more and meet the demand of Kano Pillars to lift the 2016/17 Nigeria Professional Football League trophy," the source told Goal.

"It looks like both Zakary Baraje and Raphael Everton have presented very good CVs which has so far excited the management,  but the club will likely name a coach before the week runs out.

"Discussion between the club and the coaches is at a good stage but it will be close one between Baraje and Everton.

"While Baraje is in Nigeria, Everton is yet to get to Nigeria but I know he should be in the country soon, after which we would know who will be the next Kano Pillars coach."

Kano Pillars sit 12th in the league table with 24 points from 19 matches.
