Ronald Koeman paid a morale-boosting visit to Seamus Coleman at his home in Ireland on Tuesday to check on the Everton defender in the wake of his double leg break.

The Everton manager was joined by captain Phil Jagielka  as well as fitness coach Jan Kluitenberg and the club’s head of medical services, Matt Connery.

Koeman posted a picture on Twitter of the group with Coleman - who suffered the injury on international duty with Ireland last month - accompanied by the message: “Today we visit Seamus Coleman and his Family! Looking strong and positive.”
