According to reports, Tottenham Hotspur are ‘showing the most willingness’ to sign Everton star Richarlison, but they are yet to bid for the attacker.
The 25-year-old made the move to the Premier League in 2017 as he joined Watford for £11m.
Following an impressive debut season, Everton signed him for a fee that could rise to £50m with add-ons.
The Toffees have relied on Richarlison in recent seasons. He has netted 43 goals in 135 Premier League games.
The forward enjoyed one of his best campaigns to date in 2021/22 as he helped Everton avoid relegation.
His contract is due to expire in 2024. Earlier this month it was claimed that Tottenham are in ‘advanced talks’ to sign him.
The Athletic have now acknowledged that Spurs have ‘showing the most willingness’ to buy Richarlison.
Though they note that there are ‘several interested parties’ and Tottenham are ‘yet to lodge an official bid’ for him.
It is claimed that ‘Everton’s valuation comfortably exceeds £50 million’ and ‘no club has shown the appetite to pay those sorts of sums’.
Richarlison thinks his ‘next step needs to be planned carefully’, as a ‘risky move needs to be avoided’
Meanwhile, Everton are reportedly keen to sign Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Harry Winks during this summer’s transfer window.
The 26-year-old progressed through the ranks at Tottenham. He has played over 200 times for his boyhood club since making his senior debut in 2014/15.
This includes 128 outings in the Premier League. He was also capped ten times by England between 2017 and 2020.
Antonio Conte took over at Spurs towards the end of 2021. He replaced former Wolves manager Nuno Espirito Sanot. The Italian did not favour Winks towards the end of the 2021/22 campaign.
The midfielder’s last start for Tottenham in the Premier League came on February 26 as they beat Leeds United 4-0.
Football Insider are reporting that Winks is ‘free to find a new club’ this summer.
They add that he is a ‘top priority’ for Everton. Lampard’s side are said to have ‘made contact’ with Tottenham ‘over a potential deal for Winks’.
It is also stated that the England international is valued at £20m. His contract is due to expire in 2024.
