Everton vs Arsenal: Premier League prediction, team news, line-ups, start time, live, TV, head to head, odds

Everton and Arsenal face off at Goodison Park on Sunday with both sides in real need of Premier League points.

Ronald Koeman spent big on his squad this summer to raise expectations, but the Toffees sit 16th in the table heading into the weekend's action and without a win in four games - losing a bad-tempered Europa League home clash to Lyon on Thursday.

The Everton manager arguably needs a result against Arsenal to avoid being sacked, while Arsene Wenger is also under pressure to deliver at Goodison.

Arsenal may be flying high in the Europa League after keeping their 100 per cent record in Thursday's win at Red Star Belgrade, but the Gunners already sit nine points behind leaders Manchester City after three League losses in just eight games.

Morgan Schneiderlin and Aaron Lennon are both doubts, while Roos Barkley (hamstring), Seamos Coleman (broken leg) and Ramiro Funes Mori (knee) are all long-term absentees.

Wayne Rooney will likely start, and will hope to have the same kind of impact he did as when he announced himself to the world with a wonder goal against Arsenal almost 15 years to the day.
