Everton vs Chelsea: TV channel, stream, kick-off time, odds & match preview

Chelsea will aim to snap Everton's winning run at Goodison Park in order to keep their Premier League title pursuit on track on Sunday.

The Toffees have claimed victory in eight league games in a row on home turf, a run stretching back to the Merseyside derby against Liverpool on December 19.

What next for Chelsea's youngsters?

Ronald Koeman has enjoyed a solid first season at Everton on that foundation and will be hoping for a better outcome on this occasion than the 5-0 defeat his team suffered last November at Stamford Bridge.

GAME PREVIEW

Romelu Lukaku Everton Premier League

If Chelsea can win this one, they will have sucked most of the belief out of Tottenham in the space of a week.

The Blues' FA Cup semi-final victory may not have earned them any points over Mauricio Pochettino's side but it had a certain psychological effect, and they took a second step of three towards a perfect seven days by beating Southampton at Stamford Bridge.

Everton, though, have simply trampled on all visitors to their home ground of late. They have scored at least three goals in every home game they have played in March and April, so Diego Costa and Eden Hazard will need to replicate their displays against the Saints for Chelsea to have any chance of winning.

The 4-3-3 formation Ronald Koeman has adopted during the second half of the season has seemed to suit Everton down to the ground, and if they can keep hold of Romelu Lukaku, add some extra quality out wide and perhaps strengthen their defence this summer, they will have an outside shot of crashing the top four in 2017-18.

For now, they can have their say in the title race by keeping this run going. With Lukaku always motivated by the prospect of facing his former club, you would not bet against them making the end-of-season run-in very interesting.
