Arne Slot has no fresh injury concerns ahead of Saturday's trip to Wolves and Liverpool goes in search of a third straight victory in all competitions.

The Reds have won six of their first seven games of the 2024-25 season and continued their impressive start to the campaign by booking their place in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup with Wednesday's 5-1 thumping of West Ham United at Anfield.

Fresh off the back of a 3-0 victory over Bournemouth in the Premier League just four days before, Slot decided to ring the changes for the midweek visit of the Hammers as nine players came into the side as part of major squad rotation.

It meant just goalkeeper Caoimhín Kelleher and striker Darwin Núñez kept their places from the previous weekend's victory over the Cherries, yet it didn't seem to phase the hosts as they came from behind to secure a convincing win against Julen Lopetegui's side.

Ahead of Saturday's trip to Molineux to face Wolves, however, Slot is expected to revert the significant changes he made against West Ham as he looks to secure another three points for Liverpool in the Premier League and maintain its place in the top two.

That means defenders Trent Alexander-Arnold, Ibrahima Konaté, Virgil van Dijk, and Andy Robertson, midfielders Ryan Gravenberch, Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, and forwards Mohamed Salah and Luis Díaz should all come straight back into the starting XI.

Nunez, however, risks losing his place to Diogo Jota following the Portuguese's brace in midweek, although the Uruguayan himself put in a credible performance and will leave Slot with a selection dilemma between now and kick-off tomorrow.

Another significant change could also see first-choice goalkeeper Alisson Becker return between the sticks at the expense of Kelleher, following Slot's update on the Brazilian in Friday's pre-match press conference.

“We think he is [ready to play],” the head coach told the media. "He trained yesterday as part of our session with the group, so we’re expecting him to do the whole session today. So, we think he is available but of course we have to train today.

“And of course we’re really happy with Alisson being back but I want to emphasize the fact that Caoimhin [Kelleher] did really well in the two games he was in goal for us, so another example of me having two, and I think even three, good options in certain positions.”

Kelleher produced a clean sheet in the victory over Bournemouth last weekend and pulled off a string of saves to prevent West Ham from adding to their opener on Wednesday - which was an unfortunate own goal from Jarell Quansah following a mix-up at the back.

But it now leaves Slot with another tough choice to make ahead of tomorrow's game at Wolves, although it would be no surprise to see Kelleher retain his place following two good performances. It also avoids rushing Alisson straight back into the side after just two days of training.

The only other injury concern is that of midfielder Harvey Elliott, who remains out of action after sustaining a fractured foot while away on international duty with England U21s earlier this month, and is expected to miss up to four weeks of action.
