NEXT week one of Britain’s best-known politicians is coming to Southend.

Nigel Farage will be hosting his GB News primetime show Talking Pints in the soon-to-be city next week.

Here is everything we know so far:

  • What:

Nigel will be in Southend to present his Talking Pints show in front of 100 Southend residents.

He will also be interviewing guests including Southend-born West End star Lee Mead as well as the newly elected Southend West MP Anna Firth.

The show will also be finished with a live Q&A from the audience, where they will be given the opportunity to ask questions and give their views.

  • When:

The show will be on Thursday, February 17 from 7:00pm till 8:00pm.

It will also be live on GB News, on Freeview 236.

  • Where:

For security reasons, the exact location of the event will not be revealed until the day before, however, it will be close to the seafront in Southend.

  • Why:

Farage wants to discuss several issues including immigration, Brexit, and climate change.

Moving the show around the country is aimed to “break away from the Westminster Bubble” by talking to real people across the UK, including coastal communities.

  • How do I get tickets:

Tickets are still available and only cost £1.50.

It also includes a pint of beer, glass of wine, or a soft drink in the price too.
