Ex-Liverpool star gets priceless time with Jurgen Klopp in Borussia Dortmund reunion
Liverpool legend Jurgen Klopp is back at his old side Borussia Dortmund this weekend. Earlier today, he was spotted wearing the Bundesliga side's kit for the first time since leaving in 2015.
The German is set to take on a new role this weekend as he returns to the touchline for a farewell match for two of his former players, Lukasz Piszczek and Jakub Blaszczykowski. After his Anfield exit freed up his time, Klopp was able to get involved after the duo requested that he be present.
Klopp took part in a training session with the Dortmund players who are set to play in the match, which has been organized during the international break. Klopp and his assistant, Peter Krawietz, were both there. And the German was able to catch up with a former Liverpool player.

As a 36-year-old head coach, Sahin has impressed so far in his career but would no doubt have taken the chance to learn from Klopp. The pair worked closely together at Dortmund and that was where the German-Turk played his best soccer.
"There is no doubt about his coaching — he is very good," Sahin said of Klopp, speaking to Goal, in May 2021. "But what I love most about him is that he’s human. He touches you on a human level... This is what I loved about him and what I learned about him."
