CRIME-themed book lovers can enjoy a month of events across Warrington libraries.

LiveWire is celebrating a month of crime literature events as part of the Thursday Crime Club.

The events will take place at various libraries across the town, each offering an exciting and insightful perspective into the thrilling world of crime literature.

The series commences at 7pm on June 8 at Woolston Library with an exciting evening featuring renowned crime author Sarah Ward who will share an insight into her writing process, life and career.

Stockton Heath Library will host the next event at 7pm on June 15. Here, attendees will have the unique opportunity to learn from distinguished authors Mandy Byatt and Ruby Speechley. These two literary talents will discuss their newest crime novels and share their experiences as authors in a Q&A session.

On June 22 at 2pm, Warrington Library will present a talk by David Nolan, an author and seasoned journalist, who will recount his remarkable career journey.

And finally, at 7pm on June 29, attendees at Burtonwood Library are in for a thrilling Murder Mystery Evening entitled 'Let's Play Murder'. Participants will plunge into a narrative surrounding the murder of beloved children’s television personality, Andrew Alistair.

The Thursday Crime Club encourages everyone from seasoned crime literature fans to those new to the genre to join these immersive events.
