St Helens have been boosted by the returns of Will Hopoate, Sione Mata’utia and Agnatius Paasi for their clash against Hull on Sunday.

The trio have been named in Kristian Woolf’s 21-man squad for their trip to the MKM Stadium, with a 3pm kick-off.

Hopoate, 30, returns having missed the last three games due to injury. He has been limited to just nine appearances so far this season.

Back-rower Mata’utia has completed his three match ban and is now available. He was sent off during the club’s 25-0 win over Huddersfield at the Totally Wicked Stadium.

Tonga World Cup hopeful Paasi returns having missed last week’s win over Castleford due to the concussion protocols.

Meanwhile, Josh Simm has been named after being recalled from his loan spell at Hull. The outside-back could make an instant return to the MKM Stadium on Sunday.

Curtis Sironen drops out after picking up a two-match suspension.

Youngster Dan Hill picked up a shoulder injury against Castleford and will miss the next four to six weeks.
