F1 2022 results: Canadian Grand Prix (Montreal)

Here are the complete results from the Canadian Grand Prix, won by Red Bull’s Max Verstappen ahead of Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz.

Verstappen held off late-race pressure from Sainz, with the Red Bull driver resisting the Ferrari after a late-race Safety Car brought the pack back together.

Verstappen led throughout, with Ferrari and Red Bull engaging in a tremendous strategic battle that set up a barnstorming finish even before the Safety Car intervention.

Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton took the final podium place, holding off his team-mate George Russell.
