FA Cup: Manchester name SIX teenagers and three debutants in team to face full-strength Chelsea

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini said he did not have many players to choose from - and his selection for the fifth round tie backs that up.

Academy players Manu Garcia, Aleix Garcia and David Faupala are all included in the side while Chelsea have named the same team that lost 2-1 to PSG in the Champions League last week.

City have a Champions League match in Kiev on Wednesday and fly out tomorrow - and face Liverpool in the League Cup Fial a week from today.

Pellegrini said: "We use a young team because we have to prioritise. These are good players who play in our EDS. Nobody knows who can win.

"Playing on Sunday when we are to play on Wednesday with a long travel of course it is important to not take a risk with some players but we also have injuries. If we had a fit squad and played on Saturday, maybe we would play a strong squad."

Tactful Chelsea manager Guus Hiddink said: "The young guys will want to show what they are capable of. That is a kind of danger and we will take it very seriously.

"I am focused on our side. I think the FA Cup is very serious, not just in England but when you live abroad everyone is looking to the competition's latter stages and we want to be there."
