FA Cup draw LIVE! Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham all join Manchester United in hat for fourth round
FA Cup draw LIVE!
The draw for the fourth round of the FA Cup was completed before the headline tie of round three between Manchester City and Chelsea at the Etihad Stadium. Emile Heskey and Karen Bardsley were on hand to pick out the last-32 ties after another eventful weekend so far in the world’s oldest club football competition, with the headline contest seeing the winners of Manchester City vs Chelsea paired with either Arsenal or Oxford.
Tottenham are on the road at Championship Preston, while West Ham go to third-tier Derby and Liverpool will need a replay to determine the outcome of their meeting with Wolves, with Brighton lying in wait. Manchester United had no trouble dispatching of struggling Everton and now Paul Ince goes back to Old Trafford with Reading.
Wrexham’s reward for winning a seven-goal thriller at Coventry is a home meeting with promotion-chasing Sheffield United, while fellow non-league sides Boreham Wood and Chesterfield have big incentives to win their respective third-round replays. Leeds salvage last-gasp replay
15:57 , George Flood
Wow - Leeds have spared their blushes!
They scramble a 93rd-minute equaliser through Sonny Perkins and claim a replay back at Elland Road.
They will be in the hat for the fourth round draw after all.
15:50 , George Flood
All manner of late drama in Cardiff, where Leeds were handed a penalty after Joel Bagan kept the ball out with his hand on the line and received a straight red card.
But goalkeeper Jak Alnwick kept out Rodrigo’s spot-kick.
Time running out for Leeds.
Stockport-Walsall may also be heading to a replay after Paddy Madden’s equaliser.
Latest third-round scores
15:40 , George Flood
Back to this afternoon’s ties in progress, where the nerves are jangling late on for Cardiff after Rodrigo halved their advantage over Leeds.
Stoke are cruising 3-0 up at Hartlepool after a second own goal, this time from Rollin Menayese.
Blackburn still hold that narrow lead at Norwich thanks to Jack Vale and Walsall are in front at Stockport, with an audacious finish from Danny Johnson.
Which teams need third-round replays?
15:31 , George Flood
There are 10 teams in the hat for the fourth round draw who do not yet know if they will be taking part.
As well as Bristol City and Swansea, replays will be needed to determine the outcome of the ties between Liverpool and Wolves, Boreham Wood and Accrington Stanley, Chesterfield and West Brom and Luton and Wigan.
No shortage of third-round upsets
15:19 , George Flood
Wrexham weren’t the only team to cause an upset during a frantic third-round Saturday.
High-flying Newcastle’s FA Cup curse continued as they went down 2-1 away at League One promotion hopefuls Sheffield Wednesday, while Premier League relegation battlers Nottingham Forest were hammered 4-1 by Championship strugglers Blackpool.
Top-flight Bournemouth lost 4-2 at home to second-tier leaders Burnley and QPR’s miserable FA Cup record goes on after a shock 2-1 loss at League One Fleetwood.
Rotherham were also tanked 4-1 by Ipswich from the league below.
Wrexham, Boreham Wood and Chesterfield flying flag for non-league
15:11 , George Flood
There are three non-league teams left in the draw for the fourth round, but Wrexham are the only ones definitely through after outlasting Championship Coventry in a seven-goal thriller away from home yesterday.
It was a game and a result that left co-owner and Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds “completely and totally speechless”.
After getting to the fifth round last year, Boreham Wood’s hopes of another cup run are still alive after they salvaged a replay against League One strugglers Accrington Stanley thanks to Lee Ndlovu’s late equaliser.
Fellow National League side Chesterfield’s meeting at home with West Brom was crazy, with the hosts twice fighting back from behind to eventually lead 3-2 before Brandon Thomas-Asante’s last-gasp heartbreaker.
14:57 , George Flood
It was Jacob Brown who doubled Stoke’s advantage just before the interval in the Championship side’s meeting with League Two strugglers Hartlepool at the Suit Direct Stadium... AKA Victoria Park.

Updates from Sunday’s matches

There are four more third-round ties currently taking place, with Premier League Leeds trailing 2-0 at Championship Cardiff after goals from Jaden Philogene and Sheyi Ojo.
Much work to do for Jesse Marsch’s side down in Wales to avoid another upset.
Elsewhere, Blackburn lead Norwich 1-0 in an all-Championship affair after Jack Vale’s effort - Jon Dahl Tomasson’s side also triumphed at Carrow Road in the league last month.
It’s goalless between League Two rivals Stockport and Walsall at Edgeley Park, while Stoke are leading at Hartlepool courtesy of Euan Murray’s early own goal.
Latest FA Cup results
14:26 , George Flood
The final whistles have sounded in today’s two earlier FA Cup third round kick-offs.
A replay will be needed in South Wales to settle the tie between Bristol City and Swansea after the Championship rivals played out a hard-fought 1-1 draw at Ashton Gate, with Joel Piroe’s early effort cancelled out by Antoine Semenyo.
No such trouble for Derby, who have brushed aside fellow League One promotion-chasers Barnsley 3-0 at Pride Park, with James Collins, Tom Barkhuizen and Jason Knight all on the scoresheet.
