Brighton's reward for a dramatic comeback win over Millwall in the FA Cup quarter-finals is a semi-final date with Manchester City at Wembley.

Chris Hughton's side came from 2-0 down to force extra-time at the Den before finally coming through 5-4 on penalties.

City needed their own last-gasp theatrics to book their trip to Wembley after also coming from 2-0 down to Championship opposition in Swansea yesterday evening.

Watford, who reached the last four of the competition with a 2-1 home win over Crystal Palace on Saturday lunchtime, will face Wolves in the other semi-final.

Wolves saw off Manchester United to book their place in the last four of the tournament for the first time since 1998.

The draw will take place over the weekend of April 6 and 7.

Battle of the comeback kings

So the two sides who left it late to secure their place in the draw this weekend will square up at Wembley next month when Manchester City take on Brighton.

Watford's contest with Wolves looks to be a close affair if their head-to-head is anything to go on. The Hornets have won 14 and lost 13 of their previous contests with another 18 drawn. Penalties anyone?

And then there were four

Afternoon all. This weekend's FA Cup quarter-finals have thrown up a few dramatic headlines with Manchester City coming from 2-0 down to see off a spirited Swansea side yesterday evening before Wolves inflicted a second defeat on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's Manchester United last night.

Earlier in the day, Watford had already secured their name in the hat for the semi-finals draw with a 2-1 win over Crystal Palace.

There's one tie yet to be concluded but looks to be another upset for the books. Championship strugglers Millwall, are currently 2-0 up on Chris Hughton's Brighton with just over five minutes to play.

Barring a comeback of City and Sergio Aguero proportions, the draw for the FA Cup semi-finals will conclude the end of the contest at the Den.

Just as I type these words the comeback is indeed on for Brighton! Well please stay with us as we await the conclusion of the Millwall game before the draw for the last four will take place.
