Fallon Sherrock's schedule over the next few weeks is frantic, with the 'Queen of the Palace' potentially featuring in two tournaments over one weekend. The 27-year-old currently finds herself ranked No.2 on the Women's Series Order of Merit, but may fall down the standings if she's unable to feauture in the women's tournaments. It's highly likely, with Sherrock also competing in this weekend's Dutch Darts Masters as she continues to feature in the World Series of Darts. As a result, Sherrock will feature in Friday's play, and if she loses will jet to Barnsley in hope of reaching the cut-off time to qualify for the Women's Series tournament. If she is to play, she has to be present at the venue by 9:30am.

It's some turnaround for the Milton Keynes ace, but it's a sacrifice she's willing to make as she attempts to climb the rankings. "I'm trying to do as much as I can when I'm at the Women's Series so I haven't got to worry about it. But I think it's going to have to get to the point where I'm going to have to play these events and if I don't do well, fly back or drive and play so I'm going to be knackered but if it's something I need to do, I'm going to have to do it." "The one in Germany there is pretty much no chance. I'm hoping I don't need to be there, but if I need to be there I will try my best."

The Women's Series is an important route for Sherrock towards qualifying for the Grand Slam of Darts and the PDC World Darts Championship as well as the Women's World Matchplay. The two best players on the final ranking after twenty Women's Series tournaments get an invitation for the two former majors. Of course, if Sherrock does win in Friday's opening round in Amsterdam, then she'll have to skip the Women's Series event entirely, allowing No.3 ranked Lorraine Winstanley to potentially close the gap to her.
