Fans question Luke Shaw: 'What the hell is going on with your body?'
Manchester United fans have questioned Luke Shaw’s body transformation over the past three weeks.
Tweeter @idmjones noted the difference between a photo posted by Shaw on Instagram post on 6 July, and another from the last couple of days taken on United’s tour of America.
This really is baffling @LukeShaw23
Only a few weeks ago you had a 6 pack and were completely toned, what the hell is going on with your body? @ManUtd #Photoshop pic.twitter.com/Y2FHGnAjBu— Mack The Knife (@IdMjones) July 23, 2018
Fans speculated as to how Shaw appears to have changed from a shredded appearance a few weeks ago, and a more solid figure in the image with Juan Mata:
Thought the same myself watching him last night. Must be using that app that you can give yourself 6 packs with.

I think the "trim" photo was somebody else cos I'm not the first to comment on this.

Shaw had made a show of his early return to training, before those teammates who had taken part of the World Cup, and looks set to stay at Manchester United.

He had seemed likely to exit in the summer transfer window, but United have not brought in a new left-back, and Jose Mourinho may rely on Shaw and Ashley Young, along with Diogo Dalot, to cover the full-back position. Shaw played against the San Jose Earthquakes and displayed a more familiar-looking frame than is seen in his Instagram post:
Manchester United are struggling for bodies already on their American tour as they wait for reinforcements from the World Cup ahead of the new season, and due to Antonio Valencia’s six-minute exit last night, where he had to be withdrawn due to a calf injury.
