Fantasy Football Rankings Week 12: Tight End

  • Fantasy Football Rankings Week 12: Tight End

If you own Travis Kelce, you probably forgot that he hasn't yet had his bye yet. But here we are, Week 12, and the TE rankings are without him. You're obviously holding onto him for the stretch run, but it's annoying to be without him if you're fighting for a playoff spot. We're going to use Kelce's bye as an opportunity to talk about Jacob Hollister.

Hollister is available in most leagues, in part due to Seattle having had a bye in Week 11. In Week 9, he saw six targets. That total rose to 10 in Week 10. It's easy to forget, but Hollister had eight catches for 62 yards and a score in that Week 10 game (after scoring twice the week prior). This looks like a legitimate replacement in the Will Dissly role in Seattle. Add him if you can.

    WEEK 12 NON-PPR RANKINGS:
    Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | D/ST | Kicker

If Hollister is out of the realm of possibility for you, maybe you try one of Austin Hooper's replacements in Atlanta, Jaeden Graham or Luke Stocker, against the Buccaneers, or pick up Ryan Griffin for the Jets against the Raiders. Griffin has been a bit more involved than maybe we would've expected, and Chris Herndon is out of the way now. Either way, the Bucs and Jets have been two of the worst defenses against TEs all season.

Other than that, tight end remains the position most tied to talent. If you have one of the top guys, you'll be playing them. And it's worth noting that after 10 targets in Week 10, Jared Cook appears to be in that top realm again.

Week 12 byes claim two top tight ends in Kelce and Hunter Henry, along with the two Vikings guys (Irv Smith Jr./Kyle Rudolph) and whoever Arizona stats.
