Fantasy Football Rankings Week 14: Tight End

  • Fantasy Football Rankings Week 14: Tight End

The fantasy playoffs are here, so are the Week 14 tight end rankings don't present any more opportunities for whining about how rough the position is. It's time to buckle up and make the right calls to start your charge to the fantasy championship.

We have two dream matchups for borderline fantasy starting TEs, so if you're gonna stream, it should be Jack Doyle (@ Buccaneers) or Vance McDonald (@ Cardinals). McDonald takes on the Cardinals, the matchup that's been worth streaming all year. And Doyle, now the unquestioned starter with Eric Ebron (ankle) out, takes on the Arizona-lite opponent, Tampa Bay. Both are worth starting if you don't have any of the top-tier options.

    Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | D/ST | Kicker

You'll also want to keep an eye on Zach Ertz's hamstring injury because it's exactly the type of ailment that can crop up again. Dallas Goedert is a borderline starter, anyway, but if Ertz were to be out, he'd vault into auto-start territory for Week 14. Gerald Everett's injury status could also matter to owners who streamed Tyler Higbee for his Week 13 career day and think he might be worth using in Week 14 against Seattle.

Ryan Griffin should have a good shot of continuing his solid play against the Dolphins, while Jared Cook has a brutal matchup in the 49ers but is just too involved to completely rule out. Cook could've had two touchdowns on Thanksgiving if things had shifted a foot here or there.

Of course, all the Austin Hooper (knee) and Evan Engram (foot) owners out there will be heavily tuned in to the updates on their injuries throughout the week. If they're back, they will make the position a lot deeper and leave fewer owners counting on streamers this week.

Reminder: Check back for updates during the week.
