You’re waking up on Tuesday reading all that you can about the players that you should be picking up off the waiver wire as you prepare for Week 14 of fantasy football in 2024.

But it’s likely there aren’t as many things written about who you should be dropping to grab those players. That’s what this weekly column — keep ’em or dump ’em! — will hopefully answer for you: Some help in the debate over who you should keep or drop in order to improve your team.

The final set of A LOT of byes is here, so it’s time once again to hit the waiver wire this week, with some big decisions to be made. Let’s help you with that.

1. RB Gus Edwards, Los Angeles Chargers

SIGH. With J.K. Dobbins out, he had a team-leading ... six carries. Kimani Vidal had four and Justin Herbert -- yes, the quarterback -- had five. This tells me Edwards might see more volume, so you have to keep him.

VERDICT: Keep him

2. WR Devaughn Vele, Denver Broncos

I was intrigued, but then he only saw four targets on Monday. With the bye and the inconsistent nature of Broncos pass-catchers beyond Courtland Sutton, you can drop him.

VERDICT: Drop him

3. WR DeMario Douglas, New England Patriots

We've hoped to see him explode at some point, but it just hasn't happened.

VERDICT: Drop him

4. RB Kareem Hunt, Kansas City Chiefs

With Isiah Pacheco back, he's not going to get the same work. But you need to stash him in case Pacheco gets hurt again.

VERDICT: Keep him

5. TE Kyle Pitts, Atlanta Falcons

Hello darkness my old friend. After some pretty great games for him, he's seen just 12 targets in four games. Yikes. My question is: are there tight end options out there on the waiver wire for you? Because I'm guessing there aren't a ton. I'd keep him but maybe bench him.

VERDICT: Keep him

6. QB Kirk Cousins, Atlanta Falcons

Now, him on the other hand ... except he has a soft schedule the rest of the way. Still, the interceptions are BAD.

VERDICT: Drop him
