FC IfeanyiUbah must pick point home and away, insists Onuigbo

The Anambra Warriors currently sit eighth in the NPFL standings, but the striker says they need to start picking points everywhere to maintain a title charge

Ifeanyi Onuigbo insists that FC IfeanyiUbah must continue picking points at home and away so as to keep their hopes of lifting the topflight title alive.

The Anambra Warriors are currently eighth in the NPFL table, eight points adrift of leaders MFM FC after 18 league games.

"If you look at where we're at, if we continue picking points home and away then we have a realistic chance of challenging for the title," Onuigbo told Goal.

"We haven't lost in the last five games and that's a record we hope to maintain as the season goes on. FC IfeanyiUbah is a club with ambition and our target is to win against Shooting Stars in our next lesgue match."

"Come Wednesday, if we can get three points, that would take us on to 28 points after 19 games. We've built a platform this year, but we have to keep pushing and keep moving forward or else it counts for nothing," he concluded.
