Ferguson vs. Nurmagomedov Headline UFC on FOX 19, Several Other Bouts Confirmed
During Saturday’s broadcast of UFC Fight Night 82: Hendricks vs. Thompson, Ultimate Fighting Championship confirmed several bouts for UFC on FOX 19 and revealed the event’s venue.
Lightweight contenders Khabib Nurmagomedov (22-0) and Tony Ferguson (20-3) headline the April 16 event at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Fla., while former light heavyweight champions Rashad Evans (19-4-1) and Mauricio “Shogun” Rua (23-10) meet in the co-main event.
The fight card also features a pair of high profile rematches as former champion Lyoto Machida (22-7) takes on Dan Henderson (31-14) and women’s strawweight contenders Rose Namajunas (4-2) and Tecia Torres (7-0) face off for a second time.

Other match-ups for the event included lightweights Beneil Dariush (12-1) taking on Michael Chiesa (13-2), former women’s bantamweight title challenger Bethe Correia (9-1) facing Raquel Pennington (6-5) and the return of number six-ranked featherweight Cub Swanson (21-7), taking on Hacran Dias (23-3-1).
