Cardiff Blues prop Taufa'ao Filise has signed a contract extension.
The 34-year-old Tonga international has made 130 appearances for the region since joining from Bath in 2006, and was part of the sides that won the Anglo-Welsh Cup and the Amlin Challenge Cup in 2009 and 2010 respectively.
His decision to re-sign comes in the wake of wing Alex Cuthbert's decision to commit to the Blues, who are losing the likes of Gethin Jenkins, Rhys Thomas, Dan Parks, Deiniol Jones, Ben Blair and Casey Laulala over the summer.
Director of rugby Phil Davies said: "I am delighted that the Blues have managed to retain a player of Fau's quality for the forthcoming season.
"He has shown over a number of years how valuable he is to the team and to have someone of his experience will be a huge asset next season back at the Arms Park.
"He, I'm sure, will help bring on the youngsters as we aim to build for the future."
