Fiorentina vs West Ham bet-builder options: Rice foul, Benrahma shots, Irons to win on pens
West Ham face Italian side Fiorentina in the final of the Europa Conference League, looking to end a trophy drought stretching back to 1980.
Planet Sport looks at a handful of possible bet-builder options that could be worth adding to your slip.
(Odds correct at time of publication)
Bowen to score
Jarrod Bowen loves a goal in Europe.
He has scored five in 11 in this European campaign, in a season where he hasn't been at his sparkling best.
His partner Dani Dyer recently gave birth to twins, Star and Summer, and new fathers always seem to have a knack of getting on target judging by the amount of baby-related celebrations that occur.
Possible bet builder: Jarrod Bowen to score anytime
Planet Sport Bet have boosted the Bowen to score anytime price from 14/5 to 4/1
Paqueta in the thick of it
Lucas Paqueta started the season slowly, and at times it looked as though he was wondering what he'd let himself in for as West Ham struggled near the bottom of the Premier League table.
Then in the last few months of the season he got used to the British weather and the pie n' mash and started to smile. The claret and blue began to fit him like a glove.
Paqueta hasn't pitched in with a great deal of assists through the season (six across all competitions), but not for the want of trying.
Now the rest of the West Ham team are finally getting on his wavelength that figure should creep up and he will be a focal point of most of the attacking moves during the cup final.
Possible bet builder: Paqueta to assist a goal
Planet Sport Bet have boosted Lucas Paqueta to assist a goal from 11/2 to 13/2
Rice's legacy?
It is no secret that Declan Rice will leave West Ham this summer, but he is hell bent on signing off in style.
The England midfielder is destined for bigger things with Arsenal, Manchester United and Bayern Munich the frontrunners for his signature.
But first, Rice is desperate to emulate Bobby Moore and Billy Bonds by becoming only the third West Ham captain to lift a trophy - and the first in 43 years - and in doing so write his name into Hammers folklore.
Rice puts in a lot of tackles, usually cleanly but with Fiorentina admitting they will try the dark arts, expect at least one to be a foul.
The other option is Rice having to take the game by the horns which will encourage one of his rampaging runs which will result in a shot (but probably off target).
Possible bet builders:
Rice to commit one or more fouls
Rice to have one or more shots
Moyes' future?
Similarly to his captain, David Moyes could become only the third West Ham manager to guide them to silverware, following in the fabled footsteps of Ron Greenwood and John Lyall.
There is a growing narrative that were he to achieve it the Scot, who turned 60 this year, could be forgiven for deciding to leave the club on a high, especially given their struggles in the Premier League this season which at times, he admitted, left him close to the sack.
Could Moyes finally lift some silverware before moving back north...possibly Celtic?
Possible bet builder: West Ham to lift the cup
Penalty showdown?
Moyes is set to start with cup goalkeeper Alphonse Areola despite Lukasz Fabianski being the club's number one.
But if the match goes to penalties Moyes will have a big decision to make.
Fabianski has an excellent spot-kick record - he has saved 11 in the Premier League alone. Areola, by contrast, dived the wrong way for eight consecutive penalties when West Ham lost an FA Cup shoot-out to Blackburn in November.
If the final goes the distance Fabianski could be summoned from the bench and have a big part to play in this competition after all.
Possible bet builder: Method of victory - West Ham in pens
Who to play at right-back?
Full-back Vladimir Coufal and midfielder Tomas Soucek have had their sights set on reaching the final ever since the venue was confirmed; the Fortuna Arena is the home of their former club, Slavia Prague.
However, whether Coufal starts the game is up for debate. His return to form was halted by an injury which saw the versatile Thilo Kehrer return to the first team.
Kehrer, who has struggled this season, has also hit a bit of form at the right time, so Moyes has a tough decision to make in the right-back slot.
Neither Kehrer or Coufal collect a great deal of yellow cards, but both will put in a lot of tackles, so again the fouls market is the way to go.
Possible bet builder: Kehrer to commit two or more fouls
Fornals or Benrahma?
After a tough season in and out of the West Ham side, Pablo Fornals has hit goalscoring form at the right time - netting against AZ Alkmaar and Leicester in the Irons' last two matches.
Meanwhile, Said Benrahma, despite being named runner-up in the Hammer of the Year, has seen his performances dip recently.
Moyes constantly throws the mecurial Benrahma under the bus when he makes bad decisions, while Fornals hasn't managed to find the consistency of previous seasons.
Benrahma will probably start, but could be hauled off early in the second half if things aren't going West Ham's way.
Both players love to shoot, but given West Ham have struggled to turn their XG into proper goals this season, off target shots is a safer option.
Possible bet builder:
Benrahma to have two or more shots
Fornals to have one or more shots
Fiorentina are bang in form
West Ham remain the bookmakers' favourites to win the tournament, but only just following Fiorentina's storming end to the domestic season.
Vincenzo Italiano's side have won eight, drawn four and lost just two matches since March, securing an eighth-placed finish in Serie A.
Their attacking style should suit Moyes' counter-attacking tactics, but while West Ham have enjoyed a very agreeable draw on their journey to Prague, this promises to be tough.
Possible bet builder: Match odds - Fiorentina
