It seems Twitter has reached a consensus that the Chad Morris era in Fayetteville will end shortly after the Razorbacks' game vs. Western Kentucky.
Morris' Razorbacks team found itself down 35-7 at halftime to the visiting Hilltoppers, who are led by former Arkansas quarterback Ty Storey. At halftime, he completed 19 of 28 passes for 202 yards and a touchdown, adding 45 rushing yards and two more scores.
Conversely, Arkansas (2-7) managed only 119 yards, three first downs and a touchdown against 5-4 Western Kentucky.
If Arkansas were to lose on Saturday, it would drop Morris to 4-18 in one-plus season, which includes an 0-14 mark in SEC play.
Here are some of the tweets wondering how Morris could possibly salvage his employment after today's game:
The last Arkansas coach got fired coming off the field, Im wondering if that's suddenly in play today. https://t.co/aKeA11PKk6

In case anyone was wondering, Chad Morris' buyout is $12,250,000 if fired before Dec. 31, 2019.

Chad Morris won’t make it through the day before he’s fired. There are probably already Arkansas athletics staffers cleaning out his office right now in the middle of this game.

Chad Morris could be CFB's next coach fired if he doesn't beat Western Kentucky today.
I was told his firing was not imminent this week by a source, but all bets are off if Hogs lose this one.
