Fischnaller remains in second overall on 6930 points but is now only 20 behind leader Andreas Prommegger of Austria who could only manage sixth on the day.

Rounding out the podium were the Austrians Manuel Veith and Ingemar Walder in second and third respectively.

In the women’s race Germany’s Amelie Kober produced when she needed it most to take the win but Patrizia Kummer remains on top overall.

Switzerland’s Kummer had to settle for second in Italy while Julia Dujmovits was third, good enough to keep her in third overall as well.
