FIVE men have been charged with murder after a man was stabbed in his home.

Mark Noke, 64, died of a stab wound to the chest inside his flat on Warburton Road in Thornhill on February 25.

Today five men have been charged as part of the investigation with murder, manslaughter and conspiracy to commit robbery.

The men are: Kieran Thomas Claffey, 28, of Keynsham Road, Southampton; Leighton James Tabone, 23, of no fixed address; Bradley James O’Dell, 22, of Blendworth Lane, Southampton; Aaron Paul Dean Morgan, 31, of no fixed address; and Justin Lee Roach, 39, of Steep Close, Southampton.

They were all remanded during a hearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court on Friday and are due to appear at Southampton Crown Court on Tuesday.

Two other men have also been charged in connection with Mark’s death.

Harley Wilson, 20, of International Way, Southampton and Daniel Alexander Bull, 30, of Valentine Avenue, Southampton have both been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery.

On Thursday police re-arrested seven men as part of the investigation.

A total of 15 people were arrested in connection with the incident that shocked the wider community.

Mark Noke, 64, was described as "a kind and loving member" of his family in a tribute.

“Mark’s passing has left a void that will be deeply felt, not just by his family but by all who knew him," they said.

“Mark had a gift for making people feel seen and heard. He had a ready smile, a listening ear, and a compassionate heart that drew people to him.
